Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Madyan Cruise. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

I booked Madyan Cruise for a milestone 40th birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. Arriving at Taka Makassar felt like stepping into a postcard—endless sandbars stretching into turquoise waters. Snorkeling here was otherworldly; manta rays glided just beneath us like silent guardians. The crew organized a private beach toast with chilled champagne and a custom cake. Later, a moonlit dinner on deck, serenaded by gentle waves, made the moment unforgettable. The yacht’s 2018 build shows in its clean lines and thoughtful layout, though the ensuite shower pressure was slightly weak. That said, the staff adjusted instantly when mentioned—true hospitality. Komodo Island’s ranger-led trek was perfectly timed, avoiding midday heat. Madyan Cruise blends adventure with refined comfort, ideal for those who appreciate detail without ostentation.

Madyan Cruise jadi sanctuary—no pressure, no agenda. We spent hours on sundeck, just reading and listening to waves. The crew served local coffee every morning, freshly brewed, which set the tone. Di Manjarite, we hiked to the viewpoint—moderate trail, tapi worth it. Madyan Cruise’s wooden finish feels warm, not cold luxury. Kabin kami menghadap barat, jadi kami nikmati sunset every night like a ritual. Tapi overall, the minimalism of the experience was healing. No Instagram pressure, just real moments. We left feeling reconnected—not just to each other, but to simplicity.

Our executive team needed a retreat that balanced strategic focus with genuine reconnection. Madyan Cruise provided just that. The open-deck lounge became our informal boardroom by day, then transformed into a stargazing haven at night. Kalong Island’s evening bat exodus was a humbling spectacle—nature’s own productivity metaphor. At Castle Rock, we did a group dive that challenged us individually but united us as a team. The yacht’s intimate scale fostered candid conversation, free from office hierarchies. While the Wi-Fi was understandably limited (only at anchor points), this unplugging was ultimately a benefit. One cabin’s AC took time to cool in peak afternoon heat, but the crew responded promptly. Madyan Cruise isn’t about flashy amenities—it’s about presence, and in that, it excels.

Melihat keindahan alam Indonesia dari dek kapal kayu, with the smell of wood and sea breeze — priceless. Taka Makassar bikin saya speechless, airnya biru muda, seperti dreamland. Padar Island dari kejauhan kelihatan epik. Snorkeling session diatur dengan safety first approach, which I appreciate. Crew-nya profesional tapi tetap warm. They even taught us local songs! Kabinnya simple tapi functional. Agak bising kalau mesin hidup, tapi gak sampai ganggu tidur. Madyan Cruise memberi saya sense of pride sebagai orang Indonesia. Truly a national treasure on the water.

Glad I did! Madyan Cruise surprisingly spacious for a 22.5m boat. Kabin saya menghadap laut, dan waking up to that view every morning? Divine. Manta Point jadi highlight — saya sempet ketakutan awalnya, tapi ternyata mantanya gentle banget, bahkan ngelewat pas banget di atas kepala. The way they glide, so graceful. Padar Island juga mantap, walau trekking-nya agak ngedumet. But hey, the panorama dari atas bukit? 10/10 worth it. Satu hal: breakfast agak repetitive (selalu ada nasi uduk), tapi taste-nya tetap on point. Buat photographer kayak gue, this cruise is a dream.

Crew-nya gak ngeganggu, tapi always there when needed. The silence there is healing. Taka Makassar juga indah banget — saya sempat floating in the middle of nowhere, just staring at the sky. Feels like freedom. Makanan diatur sesuai preference, dan mereka even kasih herbal tea khusus buat relaxation. Kabinnya bersih, kasurnya empuk. AC-nya kadang kurang dingin, tapi angin laut cukup sejuk. For a 5-cabin boat, space management-nya excellent. This journey helped me reconnect with myself. Madyan Cruise didn’t just take me to islands — they took me home.
