Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard La Sukha Speed Boat. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

We spent two nights onboard, and honestly, the sunset di Bidadari Beach itu beyond words—soft pink light memantul di pasir putih, dan suara ombaknya bikin kita just pause everything. Kalau mau jujur, signal di Kalong Island hampir nol, tapi honestly, that was part of the charm. We disconnected completely, which is rare these days. Would’ve loved one extra day though—four days terasa cepat banget, especially when you’re floating between such serene spots. Overall, a refined pace of travel. The kind where time feels intentional, not rushed.

As a solo traveler, I appreciated the quiet energy onboard—no forced group dynamics. Spent a full morning snorkeling di Batu Bolong, dan visibility-nya exceptional, almost like swimming in an aquarium. The crew quietly handed me a cold towel dan infused water setelah session—small gesture, tapi very telling. Tapi honestly, I didn’t miss it much. Malah lebih banyak baca buku dan observe the sky at night—bintangnya intense banget, almost theatrical. The boat’s size (12 meter) ternyata perfect untuk access hidden coves yang larger yachts can’t reach. Simple, but deeply satisfying.

My partner and I boarded the La Sukha Speed Boat days before our wedding—our version of a quiet preamble. The boat’s rhythm became ours: coffee at dawn, a slow sail to Gili Lawa, then hours in the water. We swam at Kanawa Island, where the coral shelves drop off sharply, and it felt like floating above another world. The cabin, though small, was serene—white linens, a single orchid on the dresser. The crew moved like shadows, present when needed, gone when not. One night, they arranged a private dinner on deck—grilled prawns, local sambal, a bottle of Burgundy. No speeches, no guests—just us, the stars, and the soft hum of the hull. My only wish? To stay longer. Three days felt like a sentence cut short.

Anniversary ke-15 di Komodo? Yes, and it was pure magic! La Sukha Speed Boat bikin experience-nya intimate dan berkelas. We had a private dinner setup at Bidadari Beach — candlelit, seafood grilled fresh, and the stars above. Feels like we were the only people on earth. Padar Island hike was challenging but so worth it — pemandangan dari atas? Simply epic. The cabin is small but tastefully decorated, perfect for couple. Crewnya sangat respectful, nggak ganggu privasi. Only thing: no room service bell, jadi harus naik ke deck kalau butuh sesuatu. But that’s okay — it adds to the adventure. This trip reminded us why we fell in love. Thank you, La Sukha, for the memories.

Our dive group charted La Sukha Speed Boat for a tailored Komodo run and couldn’t have asked for a more responsive platform. At just 12 meters, she’s nimble—crucial when currents shift near Crystal Rock. The single cabin didn’t matter; we used the saloon as our briefing hub, and the crew adapted seamlessly. What stood out was their local knowledge: the captain timed our drift dive at Gili Lawa Darat perfectly with the tide. Equipment storage was tight—larger groups might struggle—but for six divers, it worked. The boat’s simplicity belies its strength: cold towels post-dive, strong safety protocols, and reef-safe practices. I’ve been on larger phinisis that felt colder. La Sukha has soul. If you’re after depth over décor, this is your vessel.

We visited Rinca Island for komodo tracking—our ranger sangat knowledgeable, menjelaskan habitat dan behavior mereka dengan detail. After that, we cooled off at Batu Bolong, where the coral is still vibrant dan ikan-ikan berwarna-warni mengelilingi kita. Yang aku appreciate: they use eco-friendly sunscreen onboard, dan no single-use plastic—small commitment, tapi meaningful. Being on a smaller boat (12 meter) made the whole journey feel more intimate, seperti punya akses pribadi ke alam. Tapi overall, the balance between comfort dan authenticity sangat well-calibrated. This trip grounded me.
