Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard La Sukha Speed Boat. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

Taking our two children, ages seven and ten, on the La Sukha Speed Boat was a calculated risk. But the crew’s ease with kids made all the difference—snorkel guides who’d point out clownfish like they were old friends, and lunches with mango slices cut just so. We spent a blissful afternoon at Kanawa Island, where the kids waded in the shallows while we read under a sail shade. The single cabin sleeps four with pullman bunks—tight but manageable for a family. The boat’s 2015 build shows in the galley’s layout, but not in hygiene or service. What struck me most was how naturally the children adapted to the rhythm: waking with the sun, no screens, just water and wind. At Gili Lawa, our daughter spotted a reef shark and didn’t flinch—just whispered, ‘He’s just passing through.’ That moment alone was worth the trip.

Traveling solo on the La Sukha Speed Boat, I expected solitude. What I found was connection—subtle, unforced. The other guests were thoughtful, the crew attentive without intrusion. We spent a full day moving between Castle Rock and Taka Makassar, and at each stop, the sea revealed something new: a turtle grazing on seagrass, a reef shark slipping through shadow. The boat’s size—12 meters—means you’re never far from the water’s influence. I read on the bow for hours, lulled by the wake. The cabin, while functional, could use updated bedding—mine had a faint mildew scent, likely from humidity. But that’s a small flaw in an otherwise seamless experience. What lingers is the silence between islands, and the sense of being exactly where I needed to be.

Joining a dive group trip with La Sukha Speed Boat ternyata salah satu decision terbaik tahun ini. Meskipun ukurannya 12 meter dan hanya satu cabin, layout-nya smart—communal area luas, dive gear storage terorganisir dengan baik. We did three dives at Castle Rock—current-nya strong, tapi dive master sangat experienced dan aware. Sharks, jacks, even a manta sighting—we were in awe. The way the komodo dragon melintas slowly di depan group, seperti ancient guardian—chills. Highly efficient, very professional.

Honestly, I didn’t expect such a serene escape just off Rinca Island—La Sukha Speed Boat surprised me in the best way. As someone who planned this wellness retreat to reconnect with nature and my partner, the minimalist elegance of this 12-meter phinisi was exactly what we needed. The master suite, though compact, felt luxurious with its teakwood finish and soft linen—waking up to the sound of waves near Gili Lawa was pure magic. We kayaked at Bidadari Beach at sunrise—calm waters, golden light, and not a soul around. It felt like our own private paradise. The crew anticipated every need, serving fresh coconut and herbal tea just as the sun broke the horizon. I even managed a silent meditation session on the deck—something I haven’t been able to do in months back home. Yes, the boat is on the smaller side—don’t expect a sprawling yacht experience—but that’s also its charm. It’s intimate, agile, and perfect for small groups. My only minor critique? The Wi-Fi was patchy, but honestly, was I really complaining? Being offline forced me to be present. Our dive group loved the stop at Manta Point—crystal-clear visibility and graceful mantas gliding beneath. The captain timed it perfectly with the tide. A drone shot from there captured the entire itinerary in one breathtaking frame. For anyone seeking a quiet, soulful journey through Komodo, La Sukha delivers an unforgettable experience—simple, elegant, and deeply grounding.

As a frequent traveler, aku hargai operational efficiency seperti ini. The boat was built in 2015, jadi tidak terlalu baru, tapi perawatannya excellent—no creaks, no musty smell. Tapi overall, the rhythm of the trip—snorkel, relax, dine, repeat—felt deeply restorative. Not about extravagance, tapi about presence. That’s rare.

La Sukha Speed Boat offered a rare kind of luxury: space to breathe. As part of a small corporate group, we needed both adventure and reflection. Snorkeling at Manta Point, I felt humbled by nature’s grace. Later, Padar Island’s summit rewarded us with a 360-degree vista of turquoise chaos. The boat’s design—simple, wooden, uncluttered—focused attention outward. The 2015 build means some fixtures show wear, but never detract from the experience. The crew’s timing was impeccable—arriving at dive sites before currents shifted, serving coffee just as dawn broke. One night, the anchor dragged slightly—we woke to gentle rocking near rocks. But the crew resolved it swiftly. That slight tension only deepened our trust. La Sukha doesn’t pamper; she partners with the sea.
