Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard La Sukha Speed Boat. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

As a diver, I’m picky about boats — need good deck space, gear storage, and stable platform. La Sukha Speed Boat? Surprisingly solid! We dived at Castle Rock and Batu Bolong — both sites were teeming with current and life. The crew are ex-divers, jadi they know the drill: rinse tanks, organize gear, even suggest entry points. Boatnya kecil (12m), so intimate banget buat dive group kecil. Kabinnya simple tapi bersih, AC cukup kencang. One thing: charging ports are limited, harap maklum ini bukan liveaboard mewah. But the food? Chef bikin Indonesian-Western fusion yang delicious. Floating above manta di Rinca? Unforgettable. La Sukha proves you don’t need luxury size to deliver luxury experience.

definitely one of the best decisions we made.

Celebrate our anniversary with La Sukha Speed Boat — and it was nothing short of perfect. We anchored at Bidadari Beach, had a private candlelit dinner, and watched the stars. The intimacy of a 12-meter boat made it feel like our own floating villa. Crew was discreet but attentive, always offering cold towels and fresh coconut. Padar Island hike was challenging, but the view? Absolutely worth every sweat. The cabin is simple yet elegant, with natural wood and soft linens. Only minor thing: no hair dryer, but who needs it in tropical breeze? The way they arranged rose petals on the bed? Charming. This trip reminded us to cherish small moments. La Sukha, you’ve stolen our hearts.

After burnout, I booked solo trip to Komodo with La Sukha Speed Boat. Goal: reconnect with nature. And damn, it worked. We stopped at Batu Bolong — the coral is so healthy, I cried underwater. Meditation session on deck at dawn? Life-changing. The boat is compact (12m), so very peaceful, no crowds. Crew speaks basic English, tapi komunikasi lancar. Kabinnya cozy, tapi colokan listrik cuma satu — harap maklum. But they compensate with warmth and sincerity. Breakfast with fresh mango and local coffee? Simple, but soul-filling. I skipped Padar Island hike karena cedera, tapi view dari laut aja udah worth it. La Sukha teaches you to slow down. For wellness seekers, this is sanctuary.

Bawa istri dan dua anak kecil naik La Sukha Speed Boat — ternyata smooth banget! Crewnya sangat family-oriented, kasih floaties dan buku mewarnai buat anak. We loved Pink Beach — anak-anak excited banget lihat pasir pink, langsung pada foto-foto. Batu Bolong juga keren, snorkeling bareng baby sharks! Boatnya 12 meter, so space is limited, tapi untuk 4 orang masih nyaman. Kabinnya bersih, AC oke. Makanan disesuaikan dengan selera anak — no spice, soft textures. One small note: toilet agak bocor saat laut bergelombang. Tapi overall, pelayanannya sangat warm. Quality family time at its best.
