Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Dirga Kabila Boat. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

As a wildlife photographer, I need access, timing, and stillness. The Dirga Kabila Boat provided all three. Based out of Komodo Island, we timed our visits to Crystal Rock with the tide charts—arriving at first light, when the reef glows from within. I captured a manta ray feeding just below the surface, its gill plates filtering plankton in slow motion. The crew helped rig a stabilised platform for my long lens. The Master Suite had excellent natural light—ideal for editing. We anchored near Kalong Island one evening, and I spent hours shooting the bat emergence. The boat’s position blocked the wind, creating perfect reflection shots. My only note: the voltage fluctuated, affecting my hard drive backup. But the staff were quick to provide a surge protector. The real triumph was the human element—the captain adjusted routes based on marine activity, not just schedules. That’s rare.

So thoughtful.

I came seeking metaphors. Dirga Kabila Boat gave me living ones. Gliding past Castle Rock at dawn, the water still as glass, I understood what stillness could mean. Later, at Manta Point, the grace of those creatures in current felt like a language older than speech. The boat, compact and elegant, mirrored the precision of the crew—every gesture deliberate, every meal timed to the sun’s arc. We dined on turmeric-marinated snapper as the sky ignited, then drifted into silence watching bats spiral from Kalong’s mangroves. The cabins, though snug, were serene—white linen, soft lighting, a sense of being cradled. My only note: reading lights could be brighter, but the stars outside compensated. As a writer, I needed space to think—this voyage offered it in abundance. No forced activities, no noise. Just water, wind, and the occasional dragon sighting on Rinca. Dirga Kabila didn’t entertain; it illuminated.

With aging parents and two young teens, finding a trip that satisfied everyone felt impossible—until Dirga Kabila Boat. The layout allowed quiet corners and shared spaces in equal measure. At Bidadari Beach, we swam together, the calm water perfect for less confident swimmers. The crew provided snorkel guides for the kids while we relaxed under the shade sail. One morning, we hiked Padar Island at dawn, the heat manageable and the views staggering—three seas in different blues. Our only critique: the cabin ventilation could be stronger in midday sun, but open hatches and sea breezes mostly compensated. Evenings were simple: grilled fish, local greens, stories under the stars. The boat didn’t shout luxury; it lived it quietly.

Ngga nyangka snorkeling bisa se-intense ini! Dirga Kabila Boat bawa kami ke Manta Point pagi-pagi, dan langsung disambut puluhan manta. I felt like in a National Geographic doc. The crew prepared GoPro footage — worth every penny. Kabin simple tapi bersih, AC works well. We also visited Bidadari Beach, super quiet, perfect untuk meditation moment. Satu hal: breakfast selalu sama (nasi goreng, telur, buah), agak boring after day three. Tapi overall, experience-nya top tier. Captain juga very experienced, jalur aman meski laut agak bergelombang. Highly recommend for nature lovers yang mau off-the-grid tapi tetap nyaman.

Baru menikah 3 bulan, dan kami ingin extended honeymoon moment. Dirga Kabila Boat memberi exactly that.

Traveling solo, I sought something intimate yet refined—Dirga Kabila Boat delivered precisely that. At 22 meters, she’s compact enough to feel personal, yet every detail, from the teak decking to the linen-draped Master Suite, speaks of quiet luxury. We spent a full afternoon anchored at Bidadari Beach, where the water’s clarity stunned even after years of diving in Southeast Asia. I swam out at dusk, the light turning the limestone cliffs a soft amber. The crew anticipated needs without hovering—exactly the balance I needed. My only note: the Wi-Fi was spotty past Gili Lawa, but honestly, that felt more like a gift than a flaw. For once, I wasn’t tempted to reconnect. The seafood curry one evening—grilled reef fish caught that morning—was among the best I’ve had on water. Traveling alone, I expected solitude, but the warmth of the captain and first mate made me feel quietly looked after, not isolated.
