Un paraíso en el mar con toques de lujo real
Elegimos el Ocean Pro Phinisi para celebrar nuestro aniversario de bodas, y fue simplemente perfect. Desde el primer contacto hasta el desembarque en Labuan Bajo, todo estuvo impecable. Nuestra cabin era una master suite con vistas al mar que parecían sacadas de un drone shot al atardecer. La madera noble, el aire acondicionado silencioso y los amenities de alta gama hicieron que cada noche fuera un ritual de relax. Sí, el wifi es limitado — como debe ser en este tipo de escape —, pero quizás un poco más de conectividad en la zona común ayudaría para compartir fotos rápido. Y personalmente, hubiera disfrutado un día extra en Rinca, observando los komodos sin tanta prisa. Pero eso no resta: fue un equilibrio justo entre aventura y lujo sereno. El chef también merece mención: cena de mariscos frescos cada noche, con vinos bien seleccionados. Sin ruido, sin prisas. Justo lo que necesitábamos.

Escolhi o Ocean Pro Phinisi para um babymoon com intenção de silêncio, beleza e um toque de luxury minimalismo — e foi exatamente isso que recebi. Sozinha com meu partner, passamos quatro dias navegando entre Manjarite e Bidadari Beach, onde o azul-turquesa parece editado, mas não foi — só um drone shot natural capturado pelo time do barco. Cada refeição foi thoughtfully crafted, com frutas locais e peixes frescos, servidos no bow ou no lounge coberto, sempre com opções leves. O meu cabin, embora pequeno, tem uma janela circular que enquadra o mar como arte viva. Dormi profundamente, balançada pelo movimento suave. A única menção: gostaria de mais um dia. Quatro noites passaram rápido demais, especialmente após o sunset em Castle Rock, onde vimos os jacarés distantes e os komodos na margem. Il viaggio sull’Ocean Pro Phinisi era parte di un progetto speciale: i miei 40. Una sorta di reboot tra scogliere di Padar Island e l’acqua trasparente di Pink Beach, dove abbiamo fatto snorkeling con le storie di Komodo come sottofondo. La master suite poppa è un esercizio di design silenzioso — legni scuri, luci regolabili, un bagno con doccia che sembra uscita da un concept hotel di Milano. Ogni mattina, caffè servito sul ponte privato mentre il team preparava l’itinerary del giorno. Abbiamo visto i komodo dragon a Rinca Island, sì, ma la vera magia è stata il drone shot al tramonto su Gili Lawa, con la sagoma del phinisi stagliata contro il cielo arancio. I bambini del gruppo (colleghi con famiglia) erano in adorazione della tenda stellare montata a prua la seconda notte — un tocco inaspettato, molto cool. La cucina è stata una sorpresa: pesce fresco ogni giorno, tartare di tonno con lime kaffir, e qualche piacevole twist asiatico che non ti aspetti su un yacht così classico. Ocean Pro Phinisi jadi sanctuary dari hustle kota. Saya booking last minute untuk 5 hari dengan small group — 6 orang, mostly from college days. We wanted zero agenda, just ocean and good conversation. Gili Lawa Darwin jadi spot favorit: sunrise hike ke atas bukit, then jump straight to the blue. The yacht’s layout allows both togetherness dan personal space — I spent one afternoon reading on the upper deck, zero disturbance. Kanawa Island juga worth the stop, especially the shallow lagoon. Makanan mostly Indonesian dengan twist — grilled squid with yuzu kosho, that was unexpected. Minor thing: AC di kabin 104 agak berisik, tapi diganti cepat. WiFi tidak stabil, tapi honestly, we barely missed it. This is slow luxury at its finest — no rush, no pretense.

We joined the Ocean Pro Phinisi for a milestone 40th birthday—just six of us, plus two close friends, diving from Komodo’s western arc. The yacht’s 2020 build is evident in its quiet systems and thoughtful layout; teak decks worn just enough to feel lived-in, not new. Our cabin, forward starboard, had cross-ventilation that made air-con optional—something I appreciated, given how hot it gets after Manta Point.
We spent a full morning at Gili Lawa Laut, snorkelling along the drop-off where the current brought in batfish and white-tip reef sharks. The crew anticipated our rhythm: water, shade, and a chilled towel when we surfaced. Later, Long Beach offered that rare thing—solitude on a postcard bay. We anchored early, had the sand to ourselves for two hours.
The galley served miso-glazed eggplant and tatare of yellowfin that rivalled London’s best. Only slight friction was the Wi-Fi—functional for messages, not video. Not a true flaw, more a reminder we were properly off-grid.
What stood out was the balance: structured enough for a dive group’s needs, fluid enough for spontaneous swims or a sundowner at Taka Makassar, where the sandbar shifts with the tide. I’d have stayed another two nights without hesitation. The Ocean Pro Phinisi doesn’t shout luxury; it simply lives it.
A Study in Composed Luxury
I’ve stayed in Aman resorts and Six Senses, but the Ocean Pro Phinisi offers something rarer: movement as luxury. Our group of four, marking a joint 60th birthday, wanted immersion without compromise. The yacht delivered—snorkeling at Batu Bolong revealed grey reefs alive with trevally, and the crew timed our Rinca landing to avoid tourist boats. The upper deck lounge, shaded by a retractable awning, became our reading sanctuary. Evenings were spent on the foredeck, where the staff laid out floor cushions and local snacks. The galley leaned into Indonesian flavours—papaya salad, grilled reef fish with kecap—but with European precision. My only note: the tender could be slightly larger for group transfers. That said, the 38-meter hull carved through chop with ease. At Pink Beach, we swam in the blush-tinged shallows, then returned to chilled towels and cucumber water. It wasn’t curated excess. It was thoughtful presence.
